We had the opportunity and the honour to present this project at the International Air Show at Le Bourget in Paris in June 2017 thanks to Fabrice DUBOST, organiser of the Polytech stand at this exhibition. It was a great experience for passionates like us because we received advices and we interested many people and even professionals (CNES, A3F, Air France…).
We have been invited to make a presentation after the contest “Trophée objets connectés” at the “Fête des makers”, organised by SOFAB and which welcomed many engineers from the Sophia Tech Valley.
Thanks to our partnership with the CIV (Centre International de Valbonne), we have made some presentations for secondary-school pupils for the science festival in October 2017.
During the same period, we have also been invited to represent Polytech Nice Sophia at "Le Palais des Congrès" in Antibes for the science festival. We grasped the attention of many journalists especially one of Nice Matin and of the elected member as Jean LEONETTI for example.
At the Sophia Tech Forum organised by our school in October, we have made some demonstrations and explained our goal for this school year (2017/2018). We talked about the implementation the rover’s autonomy with the director of Polytech Nice Sophia and many professors.
We have then been invited to STMicroelectronics (Rousset) to present the progresses of the rover and explain our aim of autonomous for the rover’s autonomy. We have discussed the different issues and we also brought to life a partnership (Nucléo and Discovery boards).
