Teaching innovation project PACTIVANS

The french name for this project, Pédagogies Actives en Amphithéâtres Numériques, could be (badly) translated as Active Pedagogies in Numerical Amphitheaters, so it is about several forms of active learning (group-based learning, flipped classroom, problem-based learning) in "digital" (technology-enhanced) lecture rooms (clickers, backchannels), either real or virtual.

The project is financed by the University Nice Sophia Antipolis and is addressed to about 300 students, in the first three years of engineering curriculum.

In the french page you will find detailed information, a video about teaching in a flipped classroom and another video on Gauss' law in electrostatics, used in a flipped classroom.
